As expected, Assam HSLC 2026 routine class 10th exams will be held on 16th February 2026. Students should complete the Assam Class 10th Syllabus 2026 by the time the SEBA 2026 HSLC exam routine is released. Please Note:
(a) 5 (five) minutes extra time is provided from 8:55 am to 9:00 am shift and 1:25 pm to 1:30 pm shift to read the Question Paper only. The Officer-in-Charge will coordinate the distribution of Question Papers accordingly.
(b) Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Khasi, Garo, Hmar, Mizo. Urdu, Nepali & Karbi.
(c) Elective Languages (Time 3-hours) and In Lieu Languages (Time 2-hours): There will be a common Question paper with group A and group B for the Language viz,- Assamese (E), Hindi (E), Manipuri (E) & Santhali (E) Candidates offering Elective subject will have to appear in both the group’s A and B while In Lieu Language the candidates will have to appear in group A only, which will be treated as Assamese(11.), Hindi (IL), Manipuri (IL) & Santhali (IL) respectively.

The practical examinations for all the aforementioned subjects will be conducted at the same examination centers where candidates will appear for their theory exams. That is, this year also the practical exams will be held in the theory exam centres, not be held in Venues.
